Harlem Opera Theater

Flora won 2nd Place in the Harlem Opera Theater’s Vocal Competition,  held on Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Studio at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway @ 95th St., in New York City.

Flora was invited to participate in a Master Class conducted by acclaimed soprano Osceola Davis on Friday, June 19, 2009 and Saturday, June 20, 2009.

She was invited to perform in Winners’ Concert on July 19, 2009, at 5 pm at Convent Avenue Baptist Church on 420 West 145th St., New York City.
